The Steam Holiday sale netted me some games for my computer that are probably better enjoyed using a gamepad (gta4, Prince of Persia, etc.).
I know through surface research that Windows has driver compatibility for the 360 controller and that there is a download to make the PS3 controller function on a PC.
I am planning on buying a PS3 in the relatively near future for its blu-ray and video game playing combo, and thus was leaning towards getting a PS3 controller to use for my PC. However, I am curious as to whether there are bugs or issues with trying to force the PS3 controller to be used on a PC?
Does anyone use their PS3 controller on their PC, and if so, how well does it work? Are there problems with the crack or functionality at all that I should be aware of?
Would I be better off avoiding potential headaches and going with an xbox controller?
