Eye in the Sky is a 2015 British thriller movie starring Helen Mirren, Aaron Paul, Alan Rickman, and Barkhad Abdi. The movie, directed by Gavin Hood and based on a screenplay by Man Hibbert, is about army personnel going through authorized, moral, and political dilemmas presented by contemporary drone warfare against people using terrorist techniques, and civilians who are endangered by it. It was filmed in South Africa in late 2014 with the working title of The Get rid of Chain. The movie is the initial creation of Ged Doherty and Colin Firth’s creation company Raindog Films. Firth was originally scheduled to engage in British International Secretary James Willett.
The movie premiered at the 2015 Toronto Worldwide Movie Competition on 11 September 2015. Bleecker Road dispersed the movie in theaters in the United States with a confined release on 11 March 2016.
